Dr. Jenny Grant Rankin is a Mensan with 2 doctorates (a PhD in Education and an LHD) who has been honored by the White House for her work. She is a former Fulbright Specialist for the US Department of State who keynotes large conferences, writes books, writes an online column for Psychology Today, and teaches college courses. She has lectured at such institutions as the University of Cambridge (teaching the PostDoc Masterclass), the University of Oxford (St. Anne's College), Columbia University (teaching a class for its SAFE Lab research initiative), and trained US federal agents. Dr. Rankin has written 14 books for researchers, educators, scientists, leaders, and those who share information or data.

Before becoming an author and lecturer/speaker, Dr. Rankin served in higher education (administration), in public education (as an award-winning K-12 teacher, teacher on special assignment, assistant principal/school administrator, school district administrator), and as chief education & research officer (CERO) of a successful edtech/data company she co-owned from founding to sale (when it was awarded a Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award for being the second-best place to work in the US for a company under 1,000 employees).

Dr. Rankin’s many media appearances include ABC News, British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), Business Insider, CBS News, CNN, CTV News, Forbes Magazine, Fox News, GB News: Britain’s News Channel; Good Housekeeping, HuffPost (Huffington Post), The Los Angeles Times, MSN, National Public Radio (NPR), NBC News, Newsweek, The New York Times, Nonfiction Authors Association (NFAA), O: The Oprah Magazine, The Orange County Register, Reader’s Digest, The San Diego Union Tribune, The Seattle Times, The Sun, Sunday Star-Times, Telemundo News, U.S. News & World Report, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post, and congressional testimonies to inform legislation.

She has delivered 252 keynote/plenary speeches and other presentations, often internationally, for organizations like the American Educational Research Association (AERA), US Department of Education, and US Department of Health and Human Services, and she frequently presents internationally (e.g., her TED Talk that began as a TEDxTalk at TEDxTUM before spending a few years on the TED website). She also presents at mainstream events, such as serving as a panelist (on Mensa panels) at International Comic-Con.

In addition to her 14 books, Dr. Rankin's 217 papers and articles have appeared in many magazines and journals. Dr. Rankin is an active member of Mensa (she is one of the founding members serving on American Mensa’s Diversity Committee and she volunteered for many years as Coordinator of the Mensa Gifted Youth Program in her region) and many academic organizations, and she serves on the advisory boards of School Wise Press / K12 Measures, ASU Prep Digital, and Rocket Ready.

Dr. Rankin’s many honors include winning Teacher of the Year and being honored multiple times by the US White House for her professional contributions (for example, the American flag was once flown over the White House / US Capitol Building in honor of Dr. Rankin and her dedication to students).
